  1. We offer online Human Capital Management support services.
  1. Who does the company serve?
  1. Our services are targeted at small enterprises and individuals who do not have the capacity to have in-house Human Capital Management services. These include among others, Sole Proprietary ventures, Small to Medium Corporations as well as Domestic employers.
  1. Where is the company based?
  1. The company is based in Midrand, Gauteng.
  1.  Given that the Millennium Support Services is based in Gauteng, are the services only limited to clients in Gauteng?
  1. Millennium Support Services are predominantly online. This makes it possible to render the support to all our clients equally, irrespective of their business location. In the event of a need to dispatch a human support, the company does offer the service too. Please refer to our Services Tab.
  1. I am a small business (Sole Proprietary) employing only one person. Do I need these services?
  1. Yes, you do. Employer/Employee relationship is highly regulated in South Africa, therefore every employer is obligated to comply with Labour and Employment laws, irrespective of the number of employees under their employ.
  1. My employees are my children/family members, do I have any obligation to comply with legislations?
  1. Yes, you do have the obligation to comply with legislations. This is because employment relationship is different from family relationship and employment relationship is governed by laws.
  1. I know I need to comply with Labour Laws as an employer, but I cannot afford an HR personnel, how do your services assist me?
  1. Millennium Support Services is designed to service clients of that status. The service is structured and priced to accommodate the need of small businesses who particularly cannot afford in-house Human Capital Management services.
  1. My employee is a non-South African, do I still need to meet these compliance requirements?
  1. Yes, you do. Non-south African employees who have  legal Working Permits have the same status, rights and obligations like South African employees. Therefore, their employer must comply with all Legislative requirements in as far as their employer/employee relationship is concerned.
  1. In a case of a labour dispute, how do you assist the employer?
  1. Millennium Support Services offers support mainly on labour related issues. The support provided will be determined by the nature of the dispute as well as the compliance/non-compliance of the employer. This includes online support, as well as chairing of disciplinary hearings and representation at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA). Please refer to our Services Tab.
  1. Are these services looking at employee protection only?
  1. No, both the employer and employee are equally protected by the same laws.
  1. Do I have rights as an employer?
  1. Yes, you do have rights as the employer, as much as the employee has. MSS, as a result, ensures that both parties are fully represented.
  1. Are the Millennium Support Services industry specific?
  1. No, Millennium Support Services are not restricted to any specific industry . Our services are based on and are consistent with Labour and Employment Legislations that govern employment and labour relations across all industries within the Republic of South Africa.
  1. How will MSS ensure that the complainant is complaining about the relevant employer?
  1. Each client of MSS will be assigned a unique reference code.  It is recommended that the employer makes the reference code known to the employees.
